The Seaside Boardwalk or Malecon

Mazatlán´s seaside boardwalk, or Malecón, is the longest in Mexico and the second longest in the world, from which you can admire many of Mazatlán´s most beautiful attractions, such as its beaches, its three offshore islands, its monuments and the ocean.

Throughout its 4.5 miles, Mazatlán´s Malecón reflects the different stages in the history of this beautiful tourist destination, with each section that makes-up this long seaside boardwalk: La Puntilla (spans the docks and ferry docks),  The lighthouse, the Paseo del Centenario, the Paseo Olas Altas, the Paseo Claussen and lastly Avenida del Mar or Playa Norte section. You can enjoy the Malecón on foot, on a bicycle or aboard an open-aired "Pulmonía" vehicle along with your family, and admire its beautiful monument sculptures and spectacular sunsets over the bay.
