Pedro Infante Monument

This monument pays tribute to Pedro Infante, known here in Sinaloa as "The idol from Guamúchil”. It stands on the boardwalk along Paseo del Centenario, and was inaugurated 47 years after his death.

This idol´s sculpture is mounted on a motorcycle, in remembrance of one of his most famous movies called "A toda Máquina", filmed in 1951. It´s also a local icon, that refers to Mazatlán´s Motorcycle Week, a massive motorcycle event that is held annually during Easter Week.
