44rd EL CID 2017 ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

On behalf of the EL CID Golf & Country Club, the Tournament Committee cordially invites you and your golfing friends to participate in the 43rd EL CID 2016 Annual Golf Tournament on November 11 to 13, while enjoying a fun-filled stay in the beautiful Port City of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.

The EL CID Golf & Country Club, informs all tournament players that the course facilities will open to them for check in and practice rounds:

MEN AND WOMEN FLIGHTS
CHAMPIONSHIP        0 - 3 hcp.
AA                                 4 - 7 hcp.
A                                  8 - 11 hcp.
B                                12 - 15 hcp.
C                                16 - 20 hcp.
D                                21 - 26 hcp.
SENIORS A                0 - 16 hcp.
SENIORS B              17 - 26 hcp.
WOMEN A
WOMEN B

Seniors may choose to play in their respective flights or in the corresponding Men´s flight: "Championship", "AA", "A", "B", "C" or "D", but not in both. Minimum age for both Senior flights is 60 years old. Both Senior flights will play from the GOLD tee boxes. Maximum handicap for men is 26.

Women flights will be determined by the number of participants. Minimum of eight(8) players per flight. The maximum handicap for for women is 36. Only amateur participants older than 18 years of age with the exception of the "Championship" and "AA" flights who can be older than 15 years of age to participate. All players must have an official handicap from their Club or from an official handicap system. Handicap proof will be required.   

IMPORTANT NOTE
The "Championship", "AA", "A", "B" and "C" flight will play under the STROKE PLAY format to a 54-hole competition under the USGA and local rules.  The "D", "Seniors" and "Women" flights will play under the STABLEFORD (points) format to a 54-hole competition under the USGA and local rules.


PRIZES
Tournament Prizes and Raffles worth over $3,000,000 pesos.

$100,000 USD to the first Shoot-Out.  (35 places will be drawn during the Welcome Cocktail Party.

AUTOMOBILES to the First Hole in One of the Tournament on each of the Par 3 of the Golf Course.

EZ-GO GOLF CART to the first Hole in One at this side competition at the Driving Range.

Will be drawn among all players who sign up and pay the tournament entry fee:

WELCOME PACKAGE
A welcome kit with awesome surprises and gifts from our sponsors.

Championship and "AA" flights will tee off from blue markers and the rest form 135 yards for Closest to the Pin prizes.
Closest to the Pin prizes will be limited to one per player, getting the higher value prize. The winner of the Hole in One prize will pay the corresponding deductible.
In case of disqualification due on being late or dropping out, the player has the right to get the obtained prizes before his/her disqualification. Hole in Ones are not considered KPs.
For the flight trophies and awards, in case of ties, the method to be used will be the USGA retrogression method of 9, 6, 3, 1 in all flights.

FIELD LIMITED TO 240 PLAYERS

The Tournament organizing Committee reserves the right to make any changes for the improvement of this Tournament without prior notice.
